What a report can contain
- Laboratory report number and diamond identification details
- Lab-grown or natural origin conclusion
- Shape, measurements, and carat weight
- Colour and clarity grades
- Cut-related grades where the laboratory provides them
- Polish, symmetry, fluorescence, proportions, and comments
Which Ichor stones receive reports
IGI reports apply only to qualifying centre or selected stones when the product or order documentation states that a report is included. Smaller accent or pavé diamonds are not automatically individually reported. A jewellery piece should not be described as wholly “IGI-certified” merely because one selected stone has a report.
