Ring size guide

Home measurements are a useful starting point, not a guarantee. Measure more than once and confirm professionally when the ring is wide, valuable, difficult to resize, or intended as a surprise.

Method one: measure an existing ring

  1. Choose a ring that fits the intended finger at the position where the new ring will sit.
  2. Measure the inside diameter across the widest point without including the metal edge.
  3. Compare the millimetre measurement with the table below.

Method two: measure your finger

  1. Wrap a non-stretch paper strip around the intended finger without pulling it tight.
  2. Mark where the ends meet and measure that length in millimetres.
  3. Repeat later in the day and ensure the strip can pass over the knuckle.

Print calibration

Print at 100% or “actual size,” then measure this bar with a physical ruler. If it is not exactly 50 mm, do not use the printed dimensions.
